In this and other works on this website we have used a term describing what we believe to be the ultimate spiritual goal of mankind. It is Conscious Perfection. A noble aspiration from our perspective viewpoint, pointing to the state long ago abdicated, described in purely metaphorical terms as: Being expelled from paradise. We are engaged here in speculative thinking. Prior to this mankind was not confronted with the conundrum of opposites which is to say good and evil, and so on manifesting in endless examples. We lived under the umbrella so to say, of the Source of all that is, God if that word works for you better. The Avatars came to us, reminding us of a state of being one with what we will refer to as: The Ground of Existence, a spiritual absolute which cannot be known yet we can have an awareness of it. They suggested that we were made in the image of the Source, yet often, in our view misunderstood. They were idolized and perhaps rightly so. Their followers and especially the ones who were in charge of directives, that carried their words to the masses for a number of reasons, principally The Will to Power, either changed with-out realization or intentionally, the meaning of the teachings. Often because they felt the masses must be controlled. Now Avatars having an absolute clear advantage, being sinless, the door was closed to the rest of us.
We are asking: are we sinners? Or, do we sin? If we are indeed sinners there is an element of permanence in that. If we sin, well, we can improve. To what degree we do improve is our choice, it is up to us. That said, to improve one needs to believe in something greater than the egoic self. Ultimately, like the Phoenix rising from the ashes to ascend to the higher Self, which has been veiled by the egoic self. Yet if we are sinners, which virtually most systems tells us we are, we have then institutionalized guilt. This, perhaps, so that the prophets can control the masses, to protect us, although who will protect us from them? If on the other hand we ascend, then again we can improve. But that my friends is the closest thing to impossible if one aspires to conscious perfection. Ergo, one begins with the impossible and steadfast, stalwartly moves forward. So for one to move forward is one’s choice, one chooses to keep going. Choice is ours and ours alone. Choice has been given to us from on High and cannot be taken from us. Why not then choose to keep going towards Conscious Perfection? It is, after all, where we are going anyway.
Knowing this: why not get on with it?
